Player ESP marks operators. Gadget ESP marks equipment such as cameras, drones and traps. In R6 cheats, that gives you two different kinds of information: where an opponent is standing and what equipment is around them.

Picture a defender holding a doorway with a camera nearby. The defender can leave while the camera stays in place. Player ESP follows the operator. Gadget ESP refers to the equipment itself. Seeing one does not give you the location of the other.

What does player ESP show?

Player ESP is also called operator ESP. It can show an enemy position through cover and add details about that operator. The available details depend on the cheat, but common examples include a box, skeleton, name, health value and distance.

Box ESP puts a rectangle around the character. Skeleton ESP draws the body as connected lines. Distance ESP adds a distance reading, while health ESP and name ESP show their respective details. Each adds information about the same player.

A visibility check can distinguish an exposed operator from one behind cover. That is a separate piece of information from position. A marker showing someone behind a wall does not mean there is an open line between you and them.

What does gadget ESP show?

Gadget ESP identifies supported deployed gadgets. Drone ESP concerns drones, camera ESP concerns cameras, and trap ESP concerns traps. Support varies, so one equipment category does not automatically include every gadget in Siege.

Twitch makes the distinction easy to picture. Twitch is the operator; her shock drone is the gadget. They can be in different rooms. One marker describes the player, while the other describes the drone.

Equipment can also remain relevant after its owner moves away. A camera can still occupy the same corner while its owner changes position. Following only the player would leave that equipment out of the picture.

Why do players and gadgets need separate markers?

Operators and equipment behave differently. An operator changes stance and moves between rooms. A deployed camera may stay where it was placed. Combining both into an identical marker would make it harder to tell what you are looking at.

The distinction matters vertically too. A player marker can refer to an operator on another floor. A gadget marker nearby on screen may belong to equipment on your floor. Screen position alone does not explain their relationship.

Do the math: five extra details about one operator still give you no extra locations for nearby cameras. Player information and equipment information answer different questions, even when both appear on the same ESP overlay.

Is gadget ESP the same as an R6 wallhack?

R6 wallhack is a broad name for visual cheats that reveal information through cover. R6 ESP and Rainbow Six Siege ESP are also used when discussing those visual features. Player ESP and gadget ESP describe the specific subjects being displayed.

A wallhack that shows operators therefore does not necessarily show equipment. Likewise, a drone marker says nothing about whether the cheat also shows player health or skeletons. Those are separate features within the broader group of R6 hacks.

Can both appear on the same screen?

Yes, when the cheat supports both. The challenge is telling those markers apart. A crowded room can contain several operators and multiple gadgets, with names and distances overlapping in the same small area.

An ESP overlay reports locations and selected details. It does not explain an opponent’s next decision or replace the rest of the information in a round. Knowing what a marker represents is what makes the display understandable.
